Nuisance
Nuisance to Humanity is a clothing brand I started around December 2022. It focuses on a streetwear look and laid-back aesthetic. I'm continuing to work and improve my craft.
My process
I designed the logo design and graphics for my tees as well as some custom labels. I found a manufacturer in the Dallas area and got together with the rep from the company to help select the material and provide assets. I ordered 100 shirts in total from the manufacturer and had them sew the labels to each shirt. I eventually sold them online as a limited drop on my website I created. I helped promote my own drop creating a social media campaign to promote and advertise it also utilizing videos and a Halloween t-shirt contest on tiktok. I also packed and shipped the product out with complimentary stickers and freebies.
travis scott Inspired Wallet
After being gifted shoe scraps from Travis Scott’s Jordan 1 Low Mocha, I upcycled them into a wallet.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low 'Mocha' is a stylish and highly sought-after sneaker featuring a blend of mocha brown suede, white leather, and black accents. Its standout design includes an oversized reverse Swoosh, signature Cactus Jack branding, and a sail midsole for a vintage look. Combining premium materials with a versatile earthy color palette, this collaboration captures Travis Scott's bold aesthetic while staying rooted in Jordan Brand's iconic style.
Fashion show 2024
I was invited to put some of my items into a fashion show “Art Meets Fashion” at the Heard Craig Center. I got one of my pieces modeled during the show. After the show, I also had the opportunity to sell some items at a pop-up.
Sewing
Different items I’ve made that are mostly made with cut and sew (sewing machine).
Jean x Trackpants
I started out only making these for myself but then people started to notice and wanted to buy some off of me. I got inspiration from the Balenciaga x Adidas collab jeans.
Jersey Design
I made this for a basketball team I was on for a while called the "Breakers."
